GLOBAL PARTNER FOR SHIP REPAIR AND SHIP SUPPLY

Experience, individuality and innovation.

We develop bespoke solutions for nearly every issue related to shipping.

Services

Repair and maintenance of hatch covers.

Core business.

We set standards in the repair and maintenance of hatch covers, in steelwork, as well as in the associated sealing. For this purpose, we have experienced and highly qualified specialists in our team who can draw on a wealth of experience in ship repair. Of course, this also includes work on hydraulic systems and lines.

In addition to supplying hatch cover sealing technology, we can also repair damaged seals by using an industrial vulcanization process to renew the damaged part of the seal. It is even possible to restore the functionality of vacuum seals at no great expense via this method.

Thanks to our special bonding technology, we are also able to repair seals in the field, directly on site. Our repair process can significantly increase the service life of the seals.

This provides you with great savings potential.

All from a single source.

From the order to the final assembly.
From the order to the final assembly.

All from a single source.

Your trust is what motivates us.
Customer-oriented service and quality at the highest level. That is what we stand for – no ifs, ands, or buts.
In addition to our specialisation in the field of hatch covers, you can also rely on our expertise and our many years of experience for other services.

We carry out ship repairs worldwide in the field of steel construction. For this purpose, we have experienced experts such as welding specialists, master metalworkers, mechanical technicians, as well as international welding engineers (IWE) and mechanical engineers.

Our range of services also includes construction supervision, where our technicians ensure the correct and timely completion of their projects.

For the creation of welded assemblies, our team comprises experienced welding specialists, and international welding engineers (IWE) with a wealth of experience and craftsmanship to perform the necessary calculations.

The welding work is carried out according to a precise schedule in order to achieve the best possible results in terms of dimensional accuracy and distortion.

In addition to the technologically high-quality impulse welding technology, our range of services also includes MAG/MIG and TIG contract welding work.

Highly stressed hydraulic systems, especially in the harsh conditions of the maritime sector, are subject to considerable wear and tear. In the case of defects, the question is often: "Replace or repair?”

Often, defective cylinders can be reconditioned. To do this, we can re-coat and rework piston rods. After a new seal, nothing stands in the way of reusing them.

In addition to refurbishing cylinders, our offerings also include numerous services in conjunction with hydraulics, including verifying and, if necessary, repairing existing components. Our range of services also comprises the conversion and expansion of existing systems.

Spare parts & replacement parts
We provide spare parts for replacement or emergency circumstances. Some spare parts, specially produced and further optimized for extreme conditions in the shipping, are a part of our portfolio.

Our product range also comprises steel bearing pads with suitable Metax grease, as well as our GL-certified self-lubricating Löffler pads made of high-performance polymer. Goods by the metre, or custom-made? We manufacture our sealing solutions using the highest quality elastomer according to your specific requirements.

We supply the spare parts needed on your ship, whether standard or not, as quickly as we do special sealants to seal critical areas reliably. We also stock all common adhesives for joining rubber to rubber or rubber to metal, in both 1- and 2-component versions. Our extensive range of container lashing equipment is tested and certified by all major classification societies.

Our range of products includes an extensive selection of profiles, which we manufacture from the highest quality elastomer in cooperation with our European partner company. In addition to goods by the metre, we also supply bespoke sealing solutions tailored to your specific requirements thanks to our state-of-the-art methods for joining elastomers.

Support pads (steel) incl. installation hardware and equipment

We stock and supply all common support blocks, including installation hardware and accessories. We can also produce more unusual designs for you at short notice. Our support blocks are made of the highest quality steel. Furthermore, we also supply the appropriate Metax grease for lubricating the pads to minimise friction and wear.

Löffler pads

As a replacement for expensive steel or bronze support pads, we offer you our new Löffler pads made of high-performance polymer. These self-lubricating and highly wear-resistant pads will reduce your costs, as it is unnecessary to lubricate them. It is even easier to replace them. There is no difference in potential between our pads and the surrounding material, and therefore no large-scale electrochemical corrosion in the contact areas. Of course, the material composition of our Löffler pads is GL-certified.

We supply and plan heavy-duty transport systems tailored to your needs. This includes engineering and drafting, as well as the certification of the construction by classification societies such as Germanischer Lloyd. We execute the steel construction design in cooperation with our partner company. Of course, our range of services comprises the logistics as well as the acceptance of the hoist via the class. supporting services
We take care of organising and planning your ship repairs.

It goes without saying that we supply our products worldwide. We will handle all the necessary procedures for you, such as customs, import and transport. In order to meet your specific requirements, we select the right sea, air or land route for you. This allows us to ensure the most cost-effective and timely delivery of our products.

We offer to visit your facilities to assess the repair and maintenance work. For this purpose an experienced mechanic will come on board and inspect the relevant areas with you.
